Nate Chen Racing (NCR) and Fortune Auto North America (Fortune), today announced an agreement designating Fortune Auto as a supporting partner of the Nate Chen Racing Toyota GT86 and S14 for the 2021 Formula DRIFT PROSPEC season. The partnership represents an expansion of the NCR-Fortune relationship that began in 2010 when Nate Chen provided Fortune with media coverage of Round 4 of the Xtreme Drift Circuit at Raceway Park in Englishtown, NJ.

The NCR GT86 will utilize the Fortune Auto Competition Development 2-Way suspension system, which features 24 independent step rebound and 24 independent step compression adjustments, Concave Flow Digressive Piston Technology, and a monotube damper with high pressure nitrogen. The NCR S14 will utilize Fortune’s 7th generation of 510 Series suspension systems, which features 24 step simultaneous rebound and compression adjustable dampers, premium chrome silicon springs, and back-milled aluminum components.

“I am excited and honored to be one of the first drivers to test and debut Fortune’s Competition Development 2- Way suspension system on my GT86 as well as upgrading my S14 practice car from the 500 Series coilovers to the 510 series,” said Nate Chen, Founder of Nate Chen Racing. “I have used Fortune Auto’s suspension systems on my vehicles for the better part of a decade. The Company’s product build quality and customer service are second to none and played a significant role in my victory at USDrift’s Battle on the Bay”. “It has been amazing to watch Nate transform from High Schooler to Professional Racecar Driver,” said Terry Awad, Managing Director of Fortune Auto. “We love how he represents Fortune Auto both on and off the track and engages our customers ubiquitously.”

“Nate’s relentless work ethic and passion for motorsports are two qualities that we embrace as our own,” said Nick Swann, Motorsports Manager of Fortune Auto. “We look forward to continuing our partnership with Nate on both the regional and national levels of professional drifting.”
