Introducing Mad Mike and Matt Powers. Yes, you’ve all “met” them already, but let’s just call this video their official introduction to Team Need for Speed. Shot at the first two rounds of the Formula Drift series in Long Beach and Atlanta, the video shows off the personal and driving style of both Matt and Mike, as well as gives us a closer look at their personalities on and off the track. This is second Team Need for Speed driver film created by automotive film maker Will Roegge.

Fox 5 Atlanta came to Road Atlanta to check out some of the drifting action today. They wanted to gather a few of the champions together so Chris Forsberg, Tanner Foust, and Samuel Hubinette put on a show for the cameras. Co-Founder Jim Liaw was also interviewed to explain the history of the sport and what Formula DRIFT is all about. If you’re in the Atlanta area be sure to check out the footage during the news broadcast around 6:50 PM, 10:45 PM or 11:20 PM time frame.

Last Friday, Formula DRIFT was featured on FOX 5 in Atlanta. Here are the videos from that news feature that included Jim Liaw, president and co-founder of Formula DRIFT, Ryan Tuerck (current Formula DRIFT points leader), Samuel Hubinette (2-time Formula DRIFT champion), Daijiro Yoshihara and his new Falken / Discount Tire Lexus IS350, and Rhys Millen (Formula DRIFT and Drifting World Champion.)

Tomorrow during the 7 – 9 AM FOX morning show Formula DRIFT Round 2: Proving Ground at Road Atlanta will be featured.  Drivers Sam Hubinette, Rhys Millen, Ryan Tuerck, and Dai Yoshihara will be featured during the early morning broadcast live from the track.  There will be 4 segments spread apart starting at around 7:20 AM.
