NOTES
- Following the Formula DRIFT Link ECU PROSPEC Championship decider on Friday, James Deane (Ireland) just needed to match Bakchis in points to win the 2024 FD PRO Championship title thanks to his commanding points lead
- However, Bakchis was able to defeat Deane in the Top 4 heats and win Round 7. The PRO title will now be decided at the Final Round at Irwindale Speedway on October 18-19
- Finishing fourth in Utah, Deane’s points advantage in the AutoZone Ford Mustang RTR Spec 5-FD was reduced from 104 to 74 points over second place Bakchis
- After losing in the Final to Bakchis, Aasbo returned to third overall but will be unable to claim his fourth PRO title with a 130-point deficit
- Third-place Beechum scored his first ever FD PRO podium and his best result since joining the Championship in 2021. Beechum was the 2019 PROSPEC Champion
- Finishing tenth in Utah, Hiroya Minowa (Japan) continues to lead the 2024 FD Rookie of the Year race. His Enjuku Racing / Cusco / Yellowspeed Racing Toyota GT86 currently sits fourth overall with 406 points, 96 points ahead of nearest rival Conor Shanahan (Ireland) in 11th
- After Round 7, Toyota and Nitto Tire maintain the lead of the 2024 Auto Cup and Tire Cup, respectively
