EVENT DETAILS
Date: Friday, July 31, 2026
Location: Indianapolis Raceway Park, Indianapolis, IN
Event: Formula DRIFT Link ECU PROSPEC Championship Round 3
RESULTS FROM FD PROSPEC ROUND 3
- Camren Sorensen (USA) – Optima Battery / Sorensen Motorsports BMW
- Jason Webb (South Africa) – NonStopTuning / Webb 45 Racing Ford Mustang
- Dmitriy Brutskiy – Never Settle BMW

NOTES
- The Link ECU PROSPEC drivers had to contend with changing track conditions as light rain affected the level of grip in the latter stages
- After claiming his first podium in Round 2, and overcoming the challenges of learning a new track, 14 year-old Camren Sorensen secured his first FD victory and became the youngest winner in the series’ 23-year history
- Sorensen beat Kelsey Rowlings (USA) in the Top 32, had a bye run through the Top 16 before defeating sister Amanda Sorensen (USA) in the Top 8 heats after she lost her BMW’s supercharger drive belt. Camren then won his Top 4 heat after Jerry Johnson (USA) had power steering trouble in the Freedom Machinery C6 Corvette
- In the Final, Jason Webb fought hard but two of the three judges voted in favor of Camren for the win
- Camren jumps from sixth to third in the title race, only ten points behind Championship leader Brutskiy
- Webb, who placed second in Round 1 and fifth in Round 2, remains second in the title race by a reduced margin. He also leads the 2026 PROSPEC Rookie title chase
- Double PROSPEC Champion Dmitriy Brutskiy arrived at Round 3 in first place after finishing third in Atlanta and winning in Connecticut. He lost to Webb in the semi-finals after a small mistake in Zone 5 dropped him out of contention. However, he remains in first place after securing his third podium and is perhaps favorite for the 2026 Championship with his unmatched experience
- Jerry Johnson placed fourth and rose from tenth to fifth overall
