Tickets are available now from formulad.com for seven of the eight-round Formula DRIFT PRO and four-round PROSPEC Championships.

As we head into a new season of Formula DRIFT and look forward to greeting the best fans in motorsports, we’re happy to announce that tickets are on-sale for the 2026 season. And following the momentum built last season, plus several key changes for 2026, it’s guaranteed to be yet another incredible season of drift competition!

Not only are we excited to see the latest roster of PRO and PROSPEC drivers prepare for battle, but even more tantalizing is the prospect of three brand new tracks on the eight-round schedule. With zero setup data available to the teams, the new tracks will undoubtedly conjure up extra challenges and perhaps allow some wild cards to make a bigger impact as everybody will start with a clean slate.

Tickets for seven of the Championship rounds are available now at formulad.com. Navigate to the Schedule tab and scroll to the Rounds you wish to attend. Fans will then find general admission, seating, VIP with Track Walk and collectible FD merchandise, plus the popular Photo Experience among the options to choose from. The latter positions fans in the most sought-after shooting locations at each circuit alongside the official FD content team, allowing them to capture unforgettable images of the drift action. Availability is limited for both VIP and Photo Experience packages, so act fast!

2026 FORMULA DRIFT PRO & PROSPEC CHAMPIONSHIP SCHEDULE

CHAMPIONSHIP LOCATION DATE
PRO Streets of Long Beach April 10-11
PRO/PROSPEC Road Atlanta May 7-9
PRO Orlando Speed World May 29-30
PRO/PROSPEC Stafford Motor Speedway June 18-20
PRO/PROSPEC Indianapolis Raceway Park July 30-August 1
PRO Evergreen Speedway August 21-22
PRO/PROSPEC Las Vegas Motor Speedway Bullring September 24-26
PRO City of Long Beach October 23-24

The three new venues include Stafford Motor Speedway in Stafford Springs, CT on June 18-20. Selected in part for its proximity to Boston, it provides a new venue for fans in the North-East with the absence of Englishtown Raceway from this year’s schedule.

Next up will be Indianapolis Raceway Park on July 30-August 1. The drift course will utilize part of the short-course oval, allowing fans to take advantage of the generous seating capacity and parking facilities. The location also introduces Formula DRIFT to one of American motorsports’ most storied cities, enabling residents to enjoy a different breed of muscle cars.

The final addition to the 2026 calendar is the Bullring at Las Vegas Motor Speedway on September 24-26. It will host Round 7 of the PRO Championship and the Final Round of the Link ECU PROSPEC Championship, with the Vegas strip providing a suitable backdrop to the fireworks that will inevitably happen on the track.

Continuing the pattern established in 2025, the Formula DRIFT PRO Championship season will again start and finish on the Streets of Long Beach, CA. The Opening Round takes place on April 10-11 using part of the course created by the Grand Prix of Long Beach. The FD teams will then return to the city on October 23-24 for the Shoreline Showdown using a course created exclusively for the PRO Final Round, where the 2026 Champion will be crowned. Tickets for the Final Round 8 are the only ones not currently offered for sale. We’ll make an announcement later in the year when they become available.

Keeping with tradition, the Opening Round for PROSPEC teams will again take place at Road Atlanta on May 7-9 – the only track remaining on the FD calendar since its inaugural season in 2004. It will also see the return of the Gridlife Series for its Special Stage ATL event. Hosted in collaboration with Formula DRIFT, this incredible triple-header motorsport festival is another Round fans won’t want to miss.

Stops at Orlando Speed World and Evergreen Speedway complete the season, during which fans should look out for a few drivers. Starting with the top three finishers in the 2025 FD Link ECU PROSPEC Championship who have the chance to move up to PRO. They include the 2025 PROSPEC Champion Cody Buchanan (USA) plus runners up Nate Chen (USA) and Cole Richards (USA). Returning PRO drivers include Diego Higa (Brazil), who stepped away briefly last year, and Wataru Masuyama (Japan), who filled in for Daigo Saito but will now have a permanent seat..

“We say it every year, but the 2026 season is going to be off the hook!” said Ryan Sage, President of Formula DRIFT. “The new tracks will allow us to reach fans who might have never witnessed one of our events in person, and they’re going to be blown away by how close the competition will be. Our first five-time Champion, James Deane, will have a huge target on his back this year as drivers try to knock him off the throne he’s claimed for himself. Add in the X-factor of three new tracks and it’s anybody’s guess who will come out on top of our two Championships. But we can’t wait for the first drifts of 2026 in Long Beach in May – we hope to see you there!”
