NOTES
- Michelin Raceway Road Atlanta has been visited by the Formula DRIFT series since 2004 and is part of the 20th Anniversary celebrations
- The Formula DRIFT course at Road Atlanta has a unique uphill/downhill layout that sees the drivers start and finish at Turn 9
- All FD PROSPEC cars are required to use GT Radial tires and Link ECU engine management
- Among the many changes for 2023, Matt Soppa has joined the Formula DRIFT free livestream commentary team for PROSPEC rounds, returning to his position as Official Starter for the PRO Championship
- All three drivers on the podium joined the FD PROSPEC Championship in 2021
- After qualifying seventh, Hansen claimed his first PROSPEC win with a powerful performance throughout his heats
- Hansen didn’t have an easy path to the podium, running One More Time (where the drivers repeat both runs) in both his Top 32 and Top 16 heats as well as the Final
- Second place Hobson was the number one qualifier and narrowly missed out on the Round 1 victory after the judges ruled against him on a split decision. FD ATL represents his second podium after also finishing second at FD Orlando in 2022
- Jagger’s third place represents his best finish to date. He qualified 11th
- Top Rookie was 15 year-old phenomenon Jayden Martorana (Canada), who qualified third in his Empire Auto C6 Corvette and placed fifth overall after being knocked out of the Top 8 by Jagger
