(Wrightwood, CA) – As excitement grows for the upcoming 2026 race season, many eyes are on the next generation of professional drivers including PROSPEC rookie Sean Booth. Booth has officially joined the esteemed Feal Suspension Race Team for the 2026 Formula Drift PROSPEC championship and will be piloting the Feal Suspension Nissan 240SX S14.

Booth is a well known name in the east coast drifting community and fans have curiously awaited for his entry into Formula Drift. Similarly, Feal Suspension Race Team, owned and operated by PRO driver Aurimas “Odi” Bakchis, is known for highlighting up and coming drivers, and fans have wondered who will next step into the race seat.

Bakchis shared the sentiment that he is “always excited about the opportunity to enable a talented person to reach their dreams and goals in motorsports. Sean was highly recommended by many in our sport. He is also bringing with him a talented group of technically minded people who we have worked with in the past and who align well with our team.” On the partnership Booth notes, “I decided to step into the Feal Suspension Race Team because this car is a championship proven car. Odi Bakchis knows how to setup a chassis to be very reliable and competitive.”

Though a rookie to Formula Drift, the Orlando based Booth is no stranger to drifting as he entered the sport in 2015 and has participated in events such as Drift Appalachia, Gridlife, and the LZ World Tour. Stepping into the Feal Suspension 240SX chassis will also be familiar for Booth who has been drifting a Nissan S15 since 2018. This specific Feal Suspension S14 chassis to be piloted by Booth has driven multiple drivers to wins in PRO Formula Drift events (Bakchis 2015, 2017, 2019), PROSPEC events (Bogovich 2022; Hobson 2023), and to a PROSPEC Championship (Hobson, 2023). Booth mentioned that stepping into this car is a “surreal feeling” and that it is “good to know what this chassis and setup is capable of.”

The 2026 Formula Drift season is sure to be significant for Feal Suspension Race Team as the multi-car team will include Sean Booth in the proven S14 chassis and accomplished pro driver Bakchis in a newly built Subaru BRZ. The PRO championship begins in April in Long Beach, California and the PROSPEC championship begins shortly thereafter at the iconic Road Atlanta raceway in May 2026.
