Mspek Performance, led by professional Formula Drift ProSpec driver and engineer Kasey Kohl, will officially unveil its Race to Reef initiative alongside a newly developed ocean-inspired race livery designed by Emily Kohl at the Acura Grand Prix of Long Beach during the Super Drift Challenge exhibition.

The unveiling will take place inside the Long Beach Convention Center on Friday, April 17, 2026, marking the first public introduction of a motorsports program built to bridge the worlds of professional drifting and ocean conservation.

About the Initiative

Race to Reef is a first-of-its-kind initiative that leverages the reach and energy of professional drifting to inspire deeper awareness of ocean ecosystems, while creating tangible pathways for fans to engage with scuba diving and conservation efforts.

Joining Mspek Performance in launching the initiative are Aquanauts Grenada and their Hydrosoul NGO, alongside global dive industry leaders Scuba Schools International (SSI) and Mares, who collectively bring real-world diving experiences and conservation education directly into the motorsports environment.

“Race to Reef is about creating a connection point. Whether you’re initiating a drift at over 70 miles per hour or descending 70 feet below the surface, there’s a shared sense of focus, adrenaline, and individuality. Both are environments where you’re fully immersed, where performance and exploration become one.”

The Grenada Grand Prize Experience

A central pillar of the initiative is a fully immersive, all-expenses-paid Race to Reef experience in Grenada, West Indies. In collaboration with Aquanauts Grenada and their on-island partners, one fan will be selected to join Kasey Kohl for a multi-day dive and drift trip taking place November 1-8, 2026, combining world-class scuba diving with exclusive motorsports access.

Entry into the giveaway will be available exclusively in person throughout the 2026 Formula Drift ProSpec season, at Mspek Performance’s trackside pit activations and select off-site dive shop events, reinforcing the initiative’s commitment to real-world engagement and community participation. The winner will be drawn live at the final Formula Drift ProSpec round in Las Vegas in September 2026.

RaceToReef.com

The initiative also marks the official launch of RaceToReef.com, a centralized hub where racing and diving enthusiasts can explore full details of the Race to Reef program and Grenada trip giveaway, including trip itineraries, accommodations, and what the winning fan can expect from the November experience. The platform will also outline expanded perks tied to in-person giveaway entry, ranging from additional prize opportunities and partner-driven incentives to exclusive behind-the-scenes content and affiliated dive shop activations throughout the 2026 season.

The RaceToReef.com platform was designed and developed by Oak Harbor Web Designs, a team sponsor and custom web development partner whose hand-coded approach delivers the speed and performance the initiative demands.

2026 Season Integration

Throughout its 2026 season rollout, Mspek Performance will integrate Race to Reef across its Formula Drift ProSpec campaign, transforming traditional race weekends into immersive fan engagement platforms. Attendees will experience curated storytelling, partner activations, and educational touchpoints designed to make ocean conservation tangible and accessible.

In addition to the grand prize giveaway, tailored Race to Reef travel experiences will be made available for purchase, allowing fans and diving enthusiasts to participate in the November itineraries that blend high-performance motorsports with world-class diving in Grenada.

The Long Beach unveiling serves as the official launch point for Race to Reef, coinciding with one of the largest motorsports weekends in North America and setting the tone for a season that aims to redefine how fans interact with both racing and the natural world.
