Formula Drift – Night around the grid
Atlanta is one of the most exciting Drift course of the season – not because of the layout but it also features drifting at night!!
So right after the sunset, those drivers who qualified got a taste of what is to drift at night here in ATL.
Vaughn walks around the grid talking to his mechanics and fellow drivers.

Autograph Signing session was held right after the drivers meeting at the Open Paddock.
Vaughn Gittin got his car back in shape in order to do some practice – Car is looking pretty good out there.
Rhys Millen is trying to bounce back just like he did last year! can he get it done with the new car?

FOX 5 News at Road Atlanta
This morning FOX 5 morning news came to Road Atlanta to showcase what the event will be all about this weekend. Drivers Samuel Hubinette, Rhys Millen, Daijiro Yoshihara, and Ryan Tuerck were highlighted and they gave the camera some great drifting footage. The reporter jumped into the Nuformz / Mopar Dodge Viper with Sam behind the wheel and received the ride of a lifetime. The news video will be posted soon.

Top 4 RD1 Formula DRIFT
Live from the Top 4. Hubinette beats out Nishida to make it into the Top 4 after Nishida spins on the final turn. Foust and Tuerck battle in a close contest that goes to a “One More Time”.After the “OMT” battle..the judges each came to different calls with Ernie calling for another “One More Time,” Tony calling for Tuerck, and Andy calling for Foust…which results in another “One More Time.” In the double-overtime and Tuerck moves on to the FINALS against Hubinette!
