The first leg of Formula D Japan was held during the Japan Motor Games last July 6 to 7 together with the World Time Attack Challenge. The event had familiar drivers/tuners from the Japanese community as well as visitors and competitors from all around the world. I will split my coverage into several parts to take a closer look on some builds. Enjoy.
This 86 was on display for Work Wheels Japan, it was build by Dream Garage for Daisuke Miyazaki and it had an LS1 from a C5 Vette. It also sports a custom kit from TRA-Kyoto and Work DR9′s.
The car started as a base model ZN6, the unpainted body parts just adds character.

Fatlace’s Offset Kings Showcase is coming to Canada!!!
Join us on Monday, September 1st at Autodrome St-Eustache for our very first event in Canada! Registration will cover your vehicle for the Offset Kings showcase will also give you admission to the Formula DRIFT Canada event. Our Offset Kings shows are all inclusive with awards in many classes of cars: Slammed, VIP, JDM, Euro, Race/Track, Classic/Muscle, etc. Every person registered in the showcase will receive a event sticker and hangtag for their car. Our event will also have product giveaways, trophies & prizes for winners, and everyone will also get a chance to have international exposure by being featured in our event coverage. Formula DRIFT Challenge will be held at Autodrome St-Eustache on August 31st / September 1st 2014
The Formula DRIFT Challenge will feature the worlds best drifters competing in a top 16 competition at Autodrome St-Eustache. It will be a historic event as many of the drivers competing have never stepped foot on Canadian soil. This is the can’t miss event of the summer.
Autodrome St-Eustache is known as the “Home of Drift.” The legendary drifting venue gave drifting in the Canada it’s roots and is often referred to as the “birthplace” of Canadian drifting. It continues to grow Canadian drifting by holding many grassroots events around the year and by holding the most polarizing drift competitions.
