Especially if you’re one of the small handful of women participating in drifting – the youngest and most popular motorsport in the world! Formula DRIFT Utah was equal parts celebration, error and disappointment in a cocktail served warm under a blazing desert sun that gave teams and drivers nowhere to hide. This was certainly the case in the Final Round 4 of the Formula DRIFT Link ECU PROSPEC Championship, which took place at the newly named Burt Brothers Motorpark, Grantsville, UT – one of the fastest tracks on the calendar. With a revised track layout, the course ruthlessly punished transgressions. In fact, the title was effectively decided by drivers running into the dirt, taking themselves out of contention.
