2. Tommy Lemaire (Canada) – TLO Drift School Nissan S14.5 V8
3. Steve Misko (USA) – Misko Motorsports / TireStacks Nissan S14.75

FD PRO Round 6: Crossroads and Link ECU PROSPEC Round 3 was watched by a capacity crowd enduring temperatures hitting 95-degrees with high humidity during action which started at 1PM and ran until 11:30PM
Fredric Aasbo (Norway) claimed his first win of 2021 after recording two second place finishes at FD Orlando and Erie. St Louis is his first win since the 2020 Irwindale Final. And while Aasbo remains third in the FD PRO Championship, he’s closed to within 33 points of the lead
Having also finished second at the previous round in Seattle, Ryan Tuerck (USA) moves himself into fourth position in the FD PRO Championship, 67 points from the leader
Third place Dylan Hughes (USA) had also finished third in Seattle, proving to be a consistent finisher and future FD PRO Championship contender. He moves up to seventh overall
Top qualifier in FD PRO, Alec Robbins (USA), progressed to the Final 8 round of competition where he battled Tuerck. Unfortunately, Robbins carried too much speed through Outside Zone 2 while leading and slammed his Fasetto Nissan 350Z into the safety barrier. Robbins was unhurt, the adventure was over, but he was rewarded with fifth position
Chelsea DeNofa (USA), who was leading the FD PRO title race in his BC Racing / Nitto Tire Ford Mustang RTR Spec 5-D, was eliminated from the Top 16 after a collision with the FCP Euro / Liqui Moly / GT Radial BMW M3 of Michael Essa (USA). As a result of his early retirement, DeNofa dropped to second place in the FD PRO Championship
Matt Field (USA), who was one point behind DeNofa heading into FD STL, was knocked out of the Top 8 by DeNofa’s team leader, Vaughn Gittin Jr (USA) in the Monster Energy Ford Mustang RTR Spec 5-D. However, Field’s sixth place finish allowed him to regain the lead of the Championship by a slim 14-point margin over DeNofa
Branden Sorensen (USA) was the top FD PRO rookie qualifier and also the best finisher, taking 11th position in his 212 Performance / Sorensen Motorsports BMW. He is also the highest placed rookie in the Championship race
The day ended early for top PROSPEC qualifier Christian Nelson (USA), who hit the wall in the burnout box while warming his tires for the first competition round. Unable to effect repairs to his RTS / Wallis Fab Nissan 350Z in the allotted time, Nelson eliminated himself
Link ECU PROSPEC Round 3 winner was Mike Power (USA) who topped an all-Nissan podium in his Power Racing / MA Motorsport Nissan Silvia S15. Power had a torrid run to the Final, colliding with opponents in each round, and running One More Time in his top 16 battle. The win moves him to fifth in the 2021 Link ECU PROSPEC Championship chase
With PROSPEC rookies claiming the top three positions in qualifying, Tommy Lemaire (Canada) was the highest placed rookie in the competition heats, finishing second in the Final driving the TLO Drift School Nissan S14.5 V8
Third place on the PROSPEC podium went to Steve Misko (USA) in the Misko Motorsports / TireStacks Nissan S14.75. Sitting 26th in the Championship, the result gives Misko a shot in the arm, propelling him to 13th
Coming into Round 3, there were two joint leaders in PROSPEC but both exited early. Nick Noback (USA) driving the KoruWorks BMW E46 was knocked out in the Top 16 and dropped to second in the Championship. Dmitriy Brutskiy (Belarus) driving the Essa Autosport / ISC Suspension BMW E46 was knocked out of the Top 8 by Power but now has a 15-point lead at the top of the Championship table
The next time the Link ECU PROSPEC Championship returns will be Round 4 at Irwindale Speedway on October 22-23. The FD PRO teams will run on the Streets on Long Beach for Round 7 on September 17-18 before making their way to Irwindale for the Final in October
