NOTES

  • Olsen scored his first FD Link ECU PROSPEC win after initially being eliminated from the Top 16. He was reinstated following a successful protest for a loose trunk on Tommy Lemaire’s car. Olsen finishes the season in seventh position overall
  • With Madison and Hateley finishing Round 4 in second and third, respectively, they secured the same Championship positions, giving both drivers their best results to date
  • The 2022 FD Link ECU PROSPEC Championship saw different winners at each of the four rounds – Hateley, Brutskiy, Bogovich and Olsen – guaranteeing an exciting Final Round
  • After finishing fourth on the day and without winning a round, Robert Thorne is the 2022 FD Link ECU PROSPEC Champion. The series Rookie amassed enough points in the Top 8 heats to take the crown, having knocked out rival Brutskiy in the Top 16. Thorne used his considerable road course experience to his advantage, winning both the title and the lucrative FCP Euro Cup
  • Two-time and reigning Link ECU PROSPEC Champion Dmitriy Brutskiy was knocked out of the Top 16 in a tough battle that ended his hopes of a threepeat. Brutskiy finished the season in fourth, 29 points behind Thorne
  • The top PROSPEC drivers receive automatic upgrades to PRO licenses, allowing them to move up to the premier class if they choose
  • Throdle, FCP Euro and Royal Purple contingency programs paid out to qualified PROSPEC competitors at the end of the season, with Thorne receiving $10,000 for winning the FCP Euro Cup as the top driver of a European chassis
