Here is a great video from VIMBY.com of Round 2: Proving Ground winner Chris Forsberg and his NOS Energy Drink / Maxxis Tire Nissan 350Z. Chris is currently in 2nd Place in the Formula DRIFT 2009 Championship Point Standings.
The video has new technology where you are able to scroll the mouse over certain parts of the video for extra information.
Congrats to the Drift Alliance Team for winning the Team Drift event at the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach this past weekend. The team consisted of Chris Forsberg, Justin Pawlak, and John Russakoff.

The Team Drift teams began practice yesterday during the Toyota Grand Prix of Long Beach. A couple cars had a rough start with Pat Mordaunt spinning out and Matt Powers close behind t-boning Mordaunt on the passenger side. Both drivers are ok, but Powers may not be able to compete this weekend due to damage to his car.

After the first day of the Round 1: Streets of Long Beach event we have the Top 32 qualifiers. Top 32 is new for this season and will bring a lot of drifting action and more excitement to an already spectacular event. Congrats to Chris Forsberg, the #1 qualifier and winner of last year’s Round 1 event!
Tomorrow’s Main Event should shape up to be an interesting and exciting drifting event. Come check it out if you’re in the area, tickets are still available.
Chris Forsberg (NOS Energy Drink / Maxxis Tire Nissan 350Z) Formula DRIFT driver will be a guest judge on this weeks episode of WCJ Ultimate Gamer. It’s a reality TV show on the Sci Fi channel where the nations top gamers compete to see who is the country’s “Ultimate Gamer.”
Each episode is based on a particular game, they compete against each other in real life challenges in addition to the game play itself.
Episode 3 airs Tuesday March 24th at 10pm (but make sure to double check your local listing) and is based on the game Project Gotham Racing 4, the real life competition was drifting. Check out the promo video and be sure to watch it tonight!
