Formula DRIFT Insider Premiere’s This Sunday, August 3

Long Beach, Calif. – July 30, 2014 – Formula DRIFT’s popular web-based program, “Formula DRIFT Insider,” returns this Sunday, August 3 at 10:30 AM (PST) / 1:30 PM (EST). The years show will provide a behind the scenes companion to the live-to-tape NBC Sports Network program. Formula DRIFT Insider will travel with the drivers to their homes, on the road and give an exclusive look from the driver’s point of view of what goes on during the live competition.

“Fans will be excited to see the premier episode,” said Ryan Sage, vice-president and co-founder of Formula DRIFT. “As it covers the drama and unfinished business between 2013 champion, Michael Essa and the current points leader, Chris Forsberg.”

The Formula DRIFT Insider shows will be released coincident with the NBC Sports Network shows to give fans a chance to watch the live action and then head to Dailymotion for the behind the scenes look at what they just watched on NBCSN.

Formula DRIFT Announces Partnership with Dailymotion to create web series, Battle Tested

Long Beach, Calif. – March 29th, 2013 – Formula DRIFT has announced a new partnership with Dailymotion via the creation of a web series called, Battle Tested. The series will highlight the search for a Formula DRIFT championship through the eyes of each rounds winner and showcase behind the scenes exclusive footage that has not been seen before.

“This is going to be a very cool project. Along with Dailymotion’s continued support with broadcasting our live stream, we have now added this web series as an additional part of the story for race to the Championship in 2013,” says Ryan Sage, Co-Founder of Formula DRIFT.

Formula DRIFT Announces Live Stream Expansion for the 2012 Season

Long Beach, Calif. – April 10, 2012 – Formula DRIFT has announced today that they will continue to air all domestic Formula DRIFT rounds through the Driftstream program that will expand for the 2012 Pro Championship Season.

All on track action will be shown via the Driftstream, located on, including the first practice through to the last tandem competition on both Friday and Saturday event days. With an average viewership of over 150,000 unique IP’s in 2011 Formula, Formula DRIFT has signed a number of agreements that will expand the distribution of the already popular live stream. In 2012, Formula DRIFT will be distributed live through, Metacafe Live, Dailymotion Live and Youtube Live.

“Formula DRIFT worked diligently in the off-season to reach out to our existing partners and develop new relationships that will help make our live broadcasts more attractive. We feel that we are leading the charge of what is a progressive and new way to reach and develop a fan base.,” said Ryan Sage, vice president and co-founder of Formula DRIFT. “Additionally, with partner Ubiquity Broadcasting Corporation, we are excited to be expanding our coverage of the events as well, making the live experience better to watch from home or work. Additionally, Formula DRIFT has signed a deal with Flingo, as a new “on-demand” option providing content to all Web-enabled televisions that carry the Flingo application. There are currently 10,000,000 of these devices in the U.S. and 40,000,000 world-wide and include Insignia, LG, Samsung, Vizio, Sanyo, Western Digital, as well as Netgear devices – covering more than 8.5 million screens in 118 countries worldwide. The combined viewership of all the 2012 Driftstream partners is over 200,000,000.
