Good morning!

After chasing down some mechanical issues on Thursday, Vaughn and his Mustang RTR team had his Spec 5-D dialed in Friday. Scoring an 86 on both qualifying runs, Vaughn showcased his consistency behind the wheel at Evergreen Speedway, but fell victim to a competitive field settling for a 21st qualifying spot. One final practice session remains this morning to fine tune the car and strategize for the main event where Vaughn will face Pat Goodin in the Top 32 later this afternoon.

Chelsea DeNofa Starting 6th at Formula Drift Seattle

Good morning!

Chelsea wasted no time picking up where he left off in New Jersey, with another strong qualifying run. In fact, it was two strong qualifying runs as he scored a 93 on his of runs at Evergreen Speedway. His 93 was enough to earn him the 6th seed where he will face Dan Burkett in the Top 32. Feeling that points were left on the track after his qualifying runs yesterday, Chelsea is certain to put on a show as he pursues a spot on the podium to start the second half of the Formula Drift season.

Chelsea DeNofa Looks To Start Second Half Of Season On Top

Chelsea DeNofa and his Mustang RTR team are back in action this weekend in Seattle, WA for Round 5: Throwdown. After the longest drought on the 2019 Formula Drift calendar, Chelsea was back behind the wheel of his Mustang RTR Spec 5-D yesterday for a pair of practice sessions. With one more practice session remaining this morning Chelsea is looking to make any final adjustments for a strong qualifying run in the afternoon.

WORLD WIDE TECHNOLOGY RACEWAY UNVEILS ENLARGEMENT OF ROAD COURSE

World Wide Technology Raceway officials have unveiled the completion of its road course expansion. The multi-purpose motorsports venue is located five miles from downtown St Louis in Madison, IL. The expansion, which was designed by Tony Cotman of NZR Consulting, expands the track from 1.6 miles to 2.0 miles in total distance. Additionally, the track enhancement creates a dynamic course configuration for the Formula DRIFT Series.
