2009 Formula Drift Rookie of The Year, Eric O’Sullivan, has teamed up with his good friends and sponsors at DVS Shoes to offer drift fans a shot at winning a collection of DVS gear. The winner will receive new DVS Shoes & clothing to ensure he/she is freshly dressed for the start of the 2010 Formula Drift Season. Its free and easy to enter the competition, here’s the deal.

All you need to do is sign up for the Eric O’Sullivan news letter. Those that register between today and end of February will be put into a hat and one winner will be picked at random.
The winner will receive a fresh pair of DVS Shoes, new DVS hoodie and Tshirt + some other bits and pieces that we can manage to squeeze into the package.

Bergenholtz Racing Announces Joon Maeng As Driver

Today at the Formula DRIFT office Bergenholtz Racing announced that Joon Maeng will be piloting the Bergenholtz Racing Nitto / Mazda RX-8 for the 2010 season.

“It’s an honor to be here and I’m looking forward to the 2010 season running with Bergenholtz Racing,” said Joon Maeng, driver of the Bergenholtz Racing Mazda RX-8. “Words can not describe the gratitude in my heart to have the opportunity to drive for Bergenholtz Racing. FATLACE teams up with Formula Drift to launch ONE OF ONE, a Car Show Series

San Francisco, Calif. – January 26, 2010 – Fatlace, LLC, is proud to announce the launch of the inaugural ONE OF ONE, the Fatlace Car Show Series. ONE OF ONE is the official Car Show Series of Formula DRIFT and will be held at each 2010 Formula DRIFT event nationwide. The first show of the series will go down at Formula DRIFT Round 1: Streets of Long Beach, adjacent to the track.
