Formula Drift held a parade of cars from the Long Beach track, into the downtown area of the city (Long Beach). Cars were displayed in front of Smooth’s Sports Grill – Drivers also handed out posters, Fan Guides and signed autograph to fans and spectators.

Formula DRIFT will continue RAIN or SHINE for tomorrow and Saturday’s event in Long Beach, CA. FD held their first rain event last year for Round 5 at Evergreen Speedway and it was very exciting to watch drifting in the rain. Don’t miss out!
Long Beach, California on Thursday April 9th, 2009 will host the pre Formula D Long Beach party at Smooth’s in downtown Long Beach. The event will kick off at 5:00pm and run until 9:00pm.
Along with the Formula D cars out front and the parade to and from the pits, meet the cars and stars of Formula D, drivers autograph signing, a DVD premiere of Samuel Hubinette’s Drift Ya Later will be shown at Smooth’s in Long Beach, and its free open to the public!

Get ready for 2009 as Formula DRIFT is back and will be bringing even more drifting action on April 10-11 on the Streets of Long Beach.
At yesterday’s media day KTLA Ch. 5 News came down to check out the action. Reporter Gayle Anderson interviewed both 2-time Formula DRIFT champion Tanner Foust and 2-time Formula DRIFT champion Samuel Hubinette and hyped up this weekend’s season opening event!
